Discord's upload limits
As of 2026, Discord allows up to 20 MB per file on the free tier, 50 MB with Nitro Basic, and 500 MB on full Nitro. Discord has changed these caps before, so check the current limit for your account type if it's been a while. Clips longer than a few seconds, or anything recorded in 4K, routinely exceed even the higher tiers.
Compress once, share everywhere
